Strengths:  Afforable price, good performancde
Weaknesses:  none so far.
Review:  I use to build my first htpc. It runs very quite and fast. I really like it. I have no trouble to install the cpu on my motherboard. I remember Intel cpu gives me lots of headache the time I install the cpu fan. Anyway, I give it 4 stars.

THE BEST Value for an AMD dual Core!
Strengths:  EXTREMELY fast, dual core, 64 bit compliant, plenty of room for gaming and future computing, and the "boasting" rights!
Weaknesses:  None so far. Has been very stable since I've had it and I use it to play Oblivion. I'm sure it will continue serving me well.
Review:  I highly recommend this CPU for anyone looking for a value fast CPU especially for gaming. The included heatsink is pretty nice, though it is too bad that the fine print says that you void your warranty if you use any other heatsink or cooling product. Other than that, AMD has done another great job in this CPU set. I LOVE IT!

Good cheap processor
Strengths:  reasonable price, fast , good compatible motherboard is cheap
Weaknesses:  lower cache compared to X2 5200
Review:  got it for cheap with free ecs motherboard. Is fast out of box. Easy installation, stock fan is pretty good. However when overclocked, conroe E6600 smokes it. However if you buy intel, compatible good motherboards are expensive. Spend $20 more and buy X2 5200 instead if you are looking for cheap fast system

Strengths:  Price vs performance
Weaknesses:  Cool'n'Quiet does not mix well with OC'ed processor
Review:  Great processor. Running it at 3360 Mhz (210 x 16) with a little more voltage running through it. With the Tuniq Tower (low) it runs at 37C idle and 48C load. One thing that i completely forgot about was how Cool'n'Quiet would work with this processor. In XP when enabled it will default to its original multiplier (x12) so it will negate all the benefits of an overclocked 5000+. Not a bi...

Excellent Processor for intermediate users
Strengths:  64 bit, comes with heat sink
Weaknesses:  None so far
Review:  I purchased this processor for my first self assembled pc. very easy to install. It also came with fan and heat sink. I haven't tried with OC but experts in NewEgg says it can bt oc'd to 2.71GHz.

Strengths:  Price/Performance value DDR2 support with new socket 64-bit processing capability
Weaknesses:  Not much different than 939 version
Review:  I bought it for $156 and now the price has dropped $50. I guess people don't think the DD2 support is that much better than the 939 socket version of this processor which only supports DDR. Anyways, I am going to stick with my 939 of the 3800+ X2 for now.

Good budget cpu
Strengths:  Cheap Dual core Low power (brisbane core)
Weaknesses:  Somewhat small heatsink
Review:  Considering I got this thing for under $70 and it is common to get 30-40% overclock out of it, this is a great deal. The lower power (brisbane) version of this ones makes it especially suitable for a HTPC box, which is where I'm using it. Amazing power for the money.

AMD x2 4200+ way better than expected
Strengths:  relatively low price, energy efficient, super fast
Weaknesses:  overclocking not satisfactory, low cache mem compared to upper level toledo model, included fan not so good (but doable)
Review:  I bought this cpu to upgrade from my 1year old celeron D 345 (3.06 GHz), and it's really huge improvement. Since mobo, ram (ddr-> ddr2) are also changed, the huge improvement could be natural, but I think the mostly this cpu plays a really important role. In addition to multi-tasking, it surely does very well for a single job. I think, it's comparable to intel's C2D E6300 or so....

Buy this and save money.
Strengths:  It has a 2 x 1MB L2 cache instead of a 2 x 512mb.
Weaknesses:  None so far.
Review:  I recommend anyone to buy this over a 2x 512kb cache processor like the 4200+. It will overclock easily and it has double the cache. This can be easily overclocked to 2.5 GHz with upgraded cooling fan and AS 5 thermal grease. Overclock and upgraded fan will void warranty.

Strengths:  Price, dual-core, low power so it runs cool
Weaknesses:  barely enough horse power to decode next gen HD content
Review:  I put this into my HTPC, hoping to keep the cost minimal for the system, while still being able to watch HD content. What an Upgrade
Strengths:  Dual core, 3200 Mhz chips for the price is amazing. Stock cooling is quiet and works well.
Weaknesses:  Cache could have been bigger. Unfortantely not enough applications take advantage of more than one processor or 64-bit architecture.
Review:  AMD Processors are known to run hotter than, but I didn't see a huge difference after installing this. The heatsink comes with preapplied thermal compound which I wish I'd know before I ordered some. Consider the Black Edition if you plan on overclocking.
